銅鑼浴是一種聲音療法形式,主要透過銅鑼的聲波演奏達到療癒效果,它可以採用一對一或一對多方式進行。銅鑼浴照字面來看,意味著你將沐浴在聲波之中,過程中不會有水,你也不需要脫衣服。
體驗銅鑼浴最理想情況是舒服地躺下,將背部靠在墊子上。您需要蓋一條毯子和枕頭保持暖活。銅鑼聲開始會很輕盈,然後逐漸增強聲量,你只要舒適地躺下,閉上眼睛,放鬆。
銅鑼聲的頻率會逐漸改變,但是不是固定的和諧之音,如此將導致大腦無法跟隨並出現同步共振的效果。同步共振進而造成腦波頻率的變化。
當您體驗銅鑼浴時,您可以期望舒適躺平,並做一些放鬆的呼吸練習。如果配合Don Conreaux 的銅鑼瑜伽(Gong Yoga)許多呼吸練習,銅鑼浴可以打開人體的脈輪或能量中心。通常在這些放鬆練習幾分鐘後,銅鑼師將帶領你將呼吸逐漸恢復到自然狀態。然後,銅鑼才開始演奏。
起初,你會聽到柔和的嘶啞鑼聲,當你仔細聽,在聲音中你會意識到含藏著許多音調。當銅鑼師繼續敲擊時,聲音變得越來越響,並且不斷洗滌過你的身體與四周能量圈,你可想像它如同一個瀑布的轟鳴聲。

A gong bath is a form of sound therapy where the gong is played in a therapeutic way to bring about healing; this can be done as a one to one or group treatment.The term gong bath means that you are bathed in sound waves, there is no water involved, or clothes removed.
Ideally you will experience the gong bath lying comfortably on your back on crash mats, then use a blanket and a pillow to warm up.The gong sound begins very softly, increasing the volume as the session progresses, all you have to do is close your eyes and relax.
I change the playing technique frequently so there is no fixed rhythm which results in the brain not being able to follow and the entrainment takes place. Entertainment is the changing of brainwave frequencies.
When you experience a Gong Bath, you can expect to recline in comfort and do a few relaxation breath exercises. Don’s background in yoga means there are many breathing exercises that can be done to open the body’s chakras, or energy centers. After several minutes of these exercises, the gong master will allow your breathing to return to a natural state. Then, the gong playing begins.
At first you hear soft throaty gong sounds and as you listen carefully, you become aware of the many tones within one sound. As gong master continues to play, the sounds become louder and louder, and washes over and around you much as you would imagine the roar of a waterfall.
